Job Details

Employment Type: Full-time

Education Requirements: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Pay and Incentives

  • $28.00 to $34.00 per hour (hourly rate is dependent on licensure, field testing & years in trade)

Responsibilities

  • Provides Technical Expertise to our Field Employees through the contract documents.
  • Works directly with our Project Manager to get pertinent information to the field.
  • Assist Field personal with Troubleshooting.
  • Administers Required Compliance Docs
  • Perform monthly jobsite and vehicle safety evaluations
  • Assure NEC Code Compliance
  • Communicate with AHJ Inspectors
  • Responsible for all safety on the project and ensure employee’s follow the Safety Program
  • Assist in Performing Employee Training & Development Tasks
  • Assist with Customer Retention and Satisfaction
  • There will also be other misc. duties which will be identified as work progresses

Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a commercial/industrial Electrical Foreman or similar leadership role in the electrical industry

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical work is preferred
  • Valid electrical journeyman or masters license
  • Proven experience as a commercial/industrial Electrical Foreman or similar leadership role in the electrical industry
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
  • Proficient in using electrical tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Skills Needed

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to do the following body motions for extended periods of time: Kneeling, Sitting, Standing, Working with arms Overhead, Squatting, Crouching, Crawling, Stooping, Reaching, Walking, and Lifting. You must also be able to feel, handle, grab, smell, talk, and hear.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs on a daily basis, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100lbs.
  • Perform work at various heights: Must be able to climb A-Frame Ladders up to 20’ high. Must be able to climb Extension Ladders up to 40’ high. Must be able to work off Scissor Lifts up to 40’ high. Must be able to work off Boom/Snorkel Lifts up to 80’ high. Must be able to climb and balance on these items, as well as scaffolding.
  • You must possess normal vision with or without correction and be able to distinguish color.
  • Must be able to use hand tools for extended periods of time, and daily.
  • Must be able to use power tools for extended periods of time, and daily.

WORKING CONDITIONS- ALL ELEMENTS INSIDE AND OUT

  • Must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, between the temperatures of 20 deg and 105 deg. Work in direct sunlight, heat, humidity, cold, rain, ice, and snow.
  • Occasionally exposed to mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes and airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; at risk of electrical shock, explosions, and vibrations. Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment as required.
