Jacksonville Commercial Electrician Project:
Kingsley Endoscopy
June 14, 2021
The commercial electrical department of American Electrical Contracting is proud to have contributed to the success of the Kingsley Endoscopy project in .
All healthcare offices provide challenges in combining well-thought out design and installation with a focus on aesthetics and function, but American Electrical Contracting is prepared for more than your basic electrical job. We are experienced with specialty medical facilities and ambulatory surgery centers
Kingsley Endoscopy is an ambulatory surgery center, which is AHCA inspected. AEC has special expertise in the upgraded standards for these types of medical facilities which can operate much like a hospital operating room.
While the project required only 800-amp service at less than 10,000 square feet, it had needs for high-tech equipment and needed medical-grade electrical. For example, attic grounding is an important component of AHCA-inspected facilities.
Another requirement is a whole-facility generator system in order to continue its critical dialysis treatment during power outages or even large electrical power events like tropical weather.
The project finished on-time and on-budget after initially being delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
