Carey Frick

Executive Vice President of Operations

Carey Frick is the Executive Vice President of American Electrical Contracting, where he is focused on driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and long-term success. Carey began his career with American Electrical in 2000, working weekends and after school. From running a service truck to earning his Master Electrician’s License, his hands-on experience laid the foundation for a dynamic career in the electrical industry.

After gaining leadership experience at American Electrical, Carey launched his own electrical business, which he operated successfully for eight years. He later returned to American to further develop the company’s contract division, before stepping away due to a family health matter. During that time, he founded a small, specialized electrical company focused on dock and pool systems, which offered more flexibility.

Carey was later presented with the opportunity to acquire Vanguard Electrical, where he spent two years rebuilding and scaling the business, eventually leading to its successful acquisition by a larger firm. He returned once again to American Electrical, bringing with him a wealth of entrepreneurial experience and a renewed vision for innovation and growth.

Carey holds an EC License and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and reef keeping.
