David Yencarelli

President/CEO

David Yencarelli became the President and CEO American Electrical Contracting in 2023.  He is responsible for all operations essential to the growth and sustainability of our company.  Originally from Tampa, David attended the University of South Florida and graduated from Erwin Technical College, before relocating to Jacksonville.  Since entering the industry in 2003, David has led and operated some of the largest electrical projects in Jacksonville and the Southeast. His many certifications include a Master Electrician License, Florida Electrical Contractors License, Project Management Professional (PMP), and Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST).  He is an active board member with Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), ACE Mentor Program, UNF-Dean’s Leadership Council (CCEC), Tocoi Creek Built Environment Advisory, Clay County Schools Design Build Advisory and vice-president of the Electrical Council of Florida- Northeast Chapter.

In his off-time David enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and dining out at the many local restaurants in St. Augustine, where he resides.
