Michael Bartmess

Safety and Personnel Manager

Michael Bartmess has been in the electrical industry since 2007, obtaining his electrical journeyman’s license in 2015 and joining the American Electrical team in 2019. Michael has experience with multiple electrical environments and has served as superintendent on many projects. He began as a foreman with American Electrical, working his way to master electrician in 2020 and now serves as safety and personnel manager. In the early months of 2024, he obtained the CHST certification with BCSP and became an OSHA Authorized Instructor for the OSHA 10- and 30-Hour Courses. Safety is a core value at American Electrical and is held above all else by Michael, believing everyone should return home the way they came with Safety over Quantity.

In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, taking the boat out and going hunting any chance he gets.
